PTC with aluminum shell.
The shell is usually aluminum which enhances and preserves the heat to larger areas.
It is widely used in hair crimpers, humidifiers, electrical irons, laminators and other electrical appliances.

Notice in appliance

After switching on, the heating power is large, and then decreases, finally it becomes a steady state. The steady state power changes with appliance conditions. Faster is the heat conduction, higher is the steady state power; higher is the surface temperature, higher is the steady state power.
The surface temperature of PTC can be controlled by itself, control circuit may be omitted in most appliances.
Our PTC products are highly reliable, long aging, but if they are assembled improperly, the end product may be loose, power or temperature may be unstable.
It operates in long life, and has excellent insulation on high voltage. The surface temperature changes 5~10℃ only, when the supplied voltage changes 2 times. In liquid heating appliances, when liquid is dried in the container, it’s no problem.
Parallel connection is necessary for two or more PTC connections.
